Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
Pumpkin puree can be used for more than just pumpkin pie. Try this delicious vitamin A rich breakfast. It's a great way to sneak some veggies into your morning routine!
1/2 cup oatmeal (can be quick or old-fashioned)
1 cup water or milk
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon honey or real maple syrup (less if you want it less sweet)
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1. Add oats, water or milk, and pumpkin puree to microwave safe bowl. Microwave for about 1 minute. Stir, then microwave another 1 minute.
2. Add pumpkin pie spice, honey or maple syrup, and pecans. Enjoy!
